I am the proud owner of Elegance by Dezign, master event planner, graphic designer, business branding and visual media specialist all rolled into one! I have been in business since October of 2008 and have provided wedding design, planning, and marketing services to over 100 fabulous brides and couples throughout, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA; Houston, TX; Brooklyn, NY, and beyond. When I am not planning weddings or events, I am also wife to Derrick, and mom to our 17-year-old daughter Lauren Ashley, who are my daily inspiration. Before the commencement of Elegance by Dezign, I planned numerous successful events over a 10-year span, as Director of Public Relations for several Greater New Orleans non-profit organizations.
A few fun facts about me: I love a good romantic comedy and am also a huge fan of action flicks, HGTV, and great television dramas! I am also a published author, who loves to travel and experience new things, cultures and cuisines! My creative expressions are also encompassed by my love for cooking, music, singing, art, and dance. Home decor comes naturally to me of which I thoroughly enjoy as well; and if I had the time, {and I absolutely, do not} I would do freelance work as interior designer! As an author, of course I love creative writing. My writing topics are most inspired by love, spirituality, and life. My 20+ years of experience is complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Marketing, minor in Journalism and Spanish and I also hold a master's degree in Business. I give every client 1000% and would be honored to have you as apart of the Elegance by Dezign family.
